am1111 The harmonies that sisters can have are just so naturally beautiful. Authentic sound that is rarely matched because they've been doing it their whole lives. These sisters harmonies are breathtakingly smooth, like honey in a glass of iced tea on a hot summers day. The lyricism on some songs lends to drifting to otherworldly places as if on quick little vignette vacations. Just a beautifully crafted album start to finish. Enough catchy tunes for pop pleasing too. This album has something for everyone, I'm not kidding. It's not just folk music here I promise you! I bought this album after only hearing a snippet of the first track!! Now that I've heard the whole album through, I am even more excited to listen over again!!

Carolyn Dixon Sprightly folk from a charming sister act. A most pleasant listen. Favorite track: Nightingale.

monsieurms A wave of harmony caresses the ear, but the bouncy, mostly upbeat songs make this a feel-good album from start to finish. The finale probably epitomizes that. I particularly liked Towers and Julian, both a bit personal and particularly appealing, but there wasn't a dog in the bunch. Favorite track: Towers.

about

Whimsy is an all original acoustic folk album featuring the unique vocal stylings of sisters, Kendra, Alexey, and Emily. Filled with lush melodies, honest and thought provoking lyrics, and uncluttered instrumentation, Whimsy is a crowd pleaser for any setting. Kendra, Alexey, and Emily recorded and produced the album in Canada, and chose to accompany themselves on most of the songs, using primarily classical guitar. They provide back up vocals for each other, fleshing out their original music with chilling “blood harmonies’ creating a unique sound and an unforgettable experience.

This album is dedicated to our family and loved ones, and is in loving memory of Uncle Lawrence Wagner.
